ABC Radio National is an Australia-wide radio network broadcast by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation with many various programs, involving news and current affairs, arts, music, society, science, drama and comedy. The Perspective program is five minutes of expert commentary by opinion-makers from Australia and overseas. The founder of the Malian Foundation, Simon Malian, was invited to speak about the Foundation and its development.

The Malian Foundation and the programs it offers were profiled within a publication detailing organizations of significance around the world which provide management and organizational development service.

The World Volunteer Web is managed by the United Nations Volunteers programme and supports the volunteer community by serving as a global clearinghouse for information and resources linked to volunteerism that can be used for campaigning, advocacy and networking. The Aspen Institute is a nonprofit cultural organization dedicated to fostering enlightened leadership and open-minded dialogue using funding largely provided by largely funded by foundations such as the Carnegie Corporation, The Rockefeller Brothers Fund and the Ford Foundation. The institute holds regular seminars, policy programs, conferences and leadership development initiatives, with the goal of promoting nonpartisan inquiry and an appreciation for timeless values. The Aspen Institute's Nonprofit Sector Research Fund awards research grants and organizes convenings to expand knowledge of the nonprofit sector and philanthropy, improve nonprofit practices, and inform public policy related to nonprofits.
